1. Find your downloaded skin
This should be the folder containing 1x, 2x, Fonts, and usually a theme.json file.:
2. Open Serum 2's "Skins" folder in a new Finder tab
You have 2 ways to do it:
IF YOU HAVE A SHORTCFUT FILE included (like with my bundles), then double-click on it to confirm that it takes you to the correct Serum 2 Skins folder. It should take you to this folder:
(If the Shortcut DOESN'T work, you have to find this "Skins" folder manually.)
THE MANUAL WAY:
Create a New Tab:
Copy the "Skins Folder" path above on this page:
Paste (Ctrl + v) the path in the address bar:
Hit "Return", and you're there:
(If the path DOESN'T work, you have to find this "Skins" folder manually.)
3. Copy your downloaded skin into the "Skins" folder
Again, 2 ways of doing it:
IF YOU HAVE A SHORTCUT FILE, and it works, you can simply drag the folder into of the Shortcut file, and it should copy the skin automatically, like this:
It should look like this:
(NOTE: Your copied skin folder has to be the folder DIRECTLY containing the 1x, 2x, Fonts, etc. files.)
THE MANUAL WAY:
Copy your skin folder:
Go to the second tab where Serum 2's "Skins" folder is, and paste your skin inside, like this:
(NOTE: Your copied skin folder has to be the folder DIRECTLY containing the 1x, 2x, Fonts, etc. files.)
4. Open Serum 2, and select your new skin
Click the Serum 2 Logo in the top left corner, then hover over "Skins >", and select your new skin:
Go to the same menu again, and select "Set Current Skin as Default".
OPTIONAL — Is your skin not loading properly?
Go back to the Serum 2 logo menu, and select "110%" scale. That should fix it:
If that's too big, and you want 100% scale, then drag the corners of the window down to your desired scale, and click the "Set 101% as Default":
